And one of the first places takes a cosmetic defect as striae.

What are stretch marks?

Stretch marks, or striae, are narrow band on the skin, which suffers from excessive tension for a long time. Striae differ in color and texture of the skin, they usually whitish or pink, remain for years and do not tan, as these parts of the skin stop producing melanin. Strips are several rows parallel to each other. It should be noted that the stretch marks can occur not only during pregnancy – suffer from them and adolescents during puberty, and women slimming. Stretch marks during pregnancy appear very frequently and are located on the abdomen, thighs and breasts.

How to avoid stretch marks during pregnancy?

To deal with the already formed stretch marks much more difficult than preventing their occurrence. There are some simple rules that will help during pregnancy to avoid the formation of stretch marks.

  • Water massage. As often as possible, take a shower. During the procedure, make arbitrary discreet massage the abdomen, thighs and breasts with water spray, thus slightly change its temperature.
  • Do not forget about moisturizing the skin. After a shower, put on clean, dry skin moisturizer or special means of stretch marks.
  • Watch your weight. Do not eat for two, this is nothing more than a common myth among the people. Do not lean on sweet and flour, let your weight increase by exactly as much as required by the developing fetus.
  • Do gymnastics for pregnant women. Select the most suitable and enjoyable for you a set of exercises that will keep the muscles in order.
  • Oatmeal cleansers. Do occasionally useful for skin treatments – wrap in cheesecloth several handfuls of oatmeal, pour over them with boiling water, wait to cool washcloth and wipe the problem areas. It is very effective for the prevention of stretch marks and skin cleansing.
  • Pamper yourself with delicious and fresh cocktails. For example, fresh apple and celery contains a huge amount of nutrients that have a positive effect on metabolic processes in the body, strengthen it and tone.
